Hi!
the new feature of advanced layout editor for posts is just great. However I noticed that enabling it sorts out an unexpected behavior: the post is kinda converted in a page. The most noticeable result (in frontend) is the disappearing of tags. You also lose all info below the title (date, author, category) , eventually the container width is changed as well.
Actually, it seems that a post is converted to match a regular page.
I don’t know if this is the intended behavior, but I would love to be able to use the advanced layout builder maintaining all posts functionality.Thank you for your attention!

Thank you for using Enfold.
Yes, that will happen when you use the advance layout builder for post because it will activate the template-builder.php file instead of the default post template. All default post elements like featured image, post meta info, post title etc will be removed. You have to start from scratch. If you want to retain the default posts elements, switch to the default editor then use the shortcode wand instead.

IsmaelMarch 25, 2015 at 4:59 pm #417915Thanks Ismael,
I understand. Shortcodes are very good, but they are a pain when it comes to modify them after their first creation.
It would be very nice to be able to modify a single shortcode (e.g. a gallery) in the same graphical interface as they were created initially!thanks and keep up the good work!
March 27, 2015 at 4:45 am #419071Hey!
It is currently the expected behavior, when you activate ALB it will convert that post type into a empty canvas so all its native features will be lost. You can however, drag some Post-specific elements like Comments.
If you have any idea for an improvement feel free to post them here:

JosueMarch 29, 2015 at 11:51 pm #420136Thanks Ismael, I just added my request “Fullwidth Single Image”. I went straight to the point, no real need to use ALB in posts if only a shortcode would be available to insert a fullwidth image in posts,
Thanks,
Ric
