I’m starting a new post because my previous one was closed with no real advice or help from the support team and no explanation as to why it was closed to more replies.
After upgrading to the latest version, multiple times manually, including updating wordpress – I still can’t amend any of my pages or use the advanced layout editor.
I also cannot open the screen options dropdown.
I’ve tried disabling all plugins, i’ve tried removing the plugins completely – this didn’t work at all.
I’ve not changed any files or written any code because I can’t. I’m not a web developer.- This topic was modified 10 years ago by dee-uk.

I am sorry if your thread got closed although your issue did not get solved.
We will try our best to assist you.I think you are referring to this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/update-issue-3/. Is that right?
You still have an old version of Enfold installed (v.3.0.2). Please update to Enfold v. 3.0.4.
Also it seems that you did not update the complete theme folder. To assist you, you have to do this. Otherwise we can’t help. Please use a child theme for any customizations.

AndyNovember 25, 2014 at 10:47 pm #358001Hi Andy, thank you – I had to downgrade to 3.02 from a backup – I have upgraded to 3.04.
Yes the thread you are referring to is the correct one that was closed. I am getting really desperate now, i’ve missed nearly 3 weeks of a christmas campaign. If you can please help me figure it out.
I have completely overwritten the enfold theme folder, I used no child theme and have not overwritten any files – so if you tell you the same thing regarding updating the complete theme folder then there is something very wrong going on. This is why I was happy for you to go in via ftp as well.
Thanks!

November 27, 2014 at 1:17 am #358725Hey!
The problem is that your getting some javascript errors but I could not pinpoint where the errors were coming from. One thing I noticed was that even when deactivating all plugins you had 102 scripts being loaded which really it should be around half that with Enfold. Most of them were loading from the /wp-includes/ folder which is where WordPress keeps all it’s scripts. Not sure what could be going on there.
I would try creating a new directory on the server and install a fresh copy of WordPress there and then install Enfold to see if you get the errors there as well.
Cheers!
