    please I would like some advice.
    We use Advanced layout builder in our WP and we would preserve the format of quotation marks. We need straight double quotation marks ” (ALT+34). Despite I wrote them on my keyboard or insert via shortcut key ALT+34 and they are automatically transformed to curly quotation marks ”

    During editing this page they are straight, but they changed on the web page.

    Hi Yigit,

    thanks for your tip, unfortunately it doesn’t help. Two single quotation marks are converted to “ too. We need the format of straight double quotes in order a user can only copy that example into our software where only these types of quotes work.

    Hi,

    That seems to actually been happening for security reasons, by universal WordPress and how it outpout them.
    If you use it outside ALB it is working properly at the TinyMCE?

    Hi,

    if this is happening with a default WP theme as well, then this seems to be about a general WordPress question. In this case it’s best to ask in general WordPress support forum about it.
