Hello,
we face the same problem with advanced layout editor, which is currently not working as many others as we see on threads forum:
We found the error on Wednesday (16th April) – after click on the button of advanced layout editor we see only grey background…
What should we do to fix the problem?

Thank you for the inquiry.
The site is still using an older version of the theme, 6.0.9. You have to upgrade it to version 7.0.1. Let us know the result.

IsmaelHi. We have the same problem today. The advanced layout feature was not visible.
We have updated WP and the Enfold theme. I purchased the theme 2 days ago with 12 months of tech support. We purged the cache. We deactivated one plugin in doubt. Not the advanced layer is visible and works.Hi,
