Hi,
I’ve got a problem with LayerSliders.
On my home page, the is a LayerSlider and most of the text have got a light font weight…
On my home page in English (PAGE 1), fonts are displaying correctly, but not on my home page in French (PAGE 2), where fonts are bolder.I’ve tried everything I could but there is nothing to do !
I even created a new page in English and put my Advanced LayerSlider inside and it works… But as soon as I changed the language page to French, the problem is coming again !Could you help please, I’m going crazy ! ;-)
Thanks !
April 18, 2017 at 7:05 am #779091Hey fcp,
Did you try to clear your cache? Because I`ve checked both sites and all is working normally :)
Best regards,
John TorvikApril 18, 2017 at 4:45 pm #779468Hi John !
What do you mean when you say “working normally”?
The animation is working normally. The problem lies in the fonts that are not displayed as defined in my Advances LayerSliders. Both must have the same font weights, but it is not!And if you mean that everything is the same on both pages, which cache are you talking about ? Because I cleaned the cache of my browser and of another one to, and the problem is still present.
Could you help?
Thanks

What actions you performed?Regards,
BasilisApril 20, 2017 at 1:59 pm #780528Hi!
Nothing important. I only deleted some pages or posts revisions to empty some space in the database.
April 24, 2017 at 1:43 pm #782290Any help please…?
April 24, 2017 at 4:26 pm #782416Hi!
We’re so sorry for the late reply. The difference was in the Enfold > General Styling > Fonts.
In the General Styling of your English website, the Heading Font was set to Lato. In your French version, it is Open Sans. (In case you don’t know where to change this, when you go to the Enfold tab in your Dashboard, on the upper left hand corner, it says there Editing: English. When you hover over that, you can change it to French, and vice versa.)
I’ve taken the liberty of changing the Heading Font for your French. It’s now Lato, so it’s the same as the English one. Please note, though, that this applies to ALL Headings. Is that okay with you?
Cheers!
SarahApril 24, 2017 at 7:28 pm #782482Hi Sarah !
Thanks a lot for that !!
Sure I know how to switch language in the Dashboard, but I have so many problems with this page that I would never think about a so simple thing… I though that the problem came from some “corrupted” code in the page or something like that…One of my problems on this page concerns the masonry at the bottom of it.
I explain :
This masonry must be fullwidth but it isn’t (like you can see on PAGE 2 (my home page) in private content).
So I tried to completely rebuild a new page with the same content to make a test and try to solve this issue (like you can see on PAGE 1) and it works on this page… but when I want to make this page the home page of my website, the problem immediately comes back, all the time !Could you take a look to this problem and tell me where it comes from and what to do please ?
Maybe I will need to open a new thread for this problem. Tell me if it is the case.
Thanks a lot !
April 24, 2017 at 7:54 pm #782496Sorry but I forgot to say one thing :
Like you will see, on my home page, the masonry appears IN the color section just on top of it, but it shouldn’t be the case because in the Avia builder on my back office, this masonry is outside the color sections !
That is the reason why is doesn’t display in fullwidth but I don’t know what to do… :-(April 27, 2017 at 5:30 pm #784120Hi !
Could someone help or do I need to post my question in another thread…?
Thanks !
April 28, 2017 at 7:13 am #784317Hi,
Sorry for the late response, it is fixed now. :) I’ve checked it and it’s weird why it’s acting that way. Here is what I did to fix that:
- I’ve added a Color Section and placed the masonry inside it
- I’ve add this class name fw-section in the Color Section’s Custom CSS Class
- I’ve added this css code in Quick CSS (located in Enfold > General Styling):
.fw-section .container { background-color: #e7e7e7; padding: 15px 0 0 15px; max-width: 100% !important; } .fw-section .container .av-content-full { padding: 0; }
Hope it’s all good :)
Best regards,

I do agree with you, it is very weird why it’s acting this way ! I thought that you could tell me why but what you did works perfectly.
