Hello
I am having a few issues fitting a responsive advanced layerslider in my footer. I have tried different settings including following your tutorial here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WB3Xyc_QDRM
I currently have the settings set at 100% and my height at 100px this works the way I want at the largest screen dimension but it won’t resize down and cuts off the image.
I would like the slider to fill up the footer but currently there are a few pixels of padding it seems above and below the slider. Also when I set the width in pixels, the slider doesn’t fill up the footer and when I size down there are gaps to the left and right as well as below.
Finally, for some reason the slider only displays on the home page or on pages where I have another layer slider and I’m not sure why.
Please help me with the proper slider settings. I believe there might also be something I have to do with my footer size.
Thank you so much!

June 12, 2014 at 7:57 am #277955Hey!
That isn’t one of our tutorials but to address the question the LayerSlider would need to be installed as a standalone plugin to work within the footer as Kriesi did a bit of optimization of LayerSlider so that it only loads when the shortcode is detected in the page content (helps cut down on extra junk getting loaded into the page and speeding things up).

Well could you still help me out with setting the layerslider properly. This isn’t only an issue I’m having with the footer but the main slider as well. I don’t think I have the correct settings. Thanks
June 12, 2014 at 8:06 am #277960I just want the slider to be responsive and not cut off the image when the page is smaller like it’s doing now.

What method are you using to include a LayerSlider in a footer widget?
Cheers!

June 13, 2014 at 1:48 am #278405Hello again
I know my question seemed complicated but I am only looking for the proper settings of embedding the advanced layerslider. And if possible how to add it to my footer as well.
Thanks for your help.

LS is not meant to be used in that environment, my recommendation would be to do something like this.
