Try to move my advanced layer slider up 100px and notice it gets cut off slightly as it moves outside of its container I’m guessing.
Is there a way to display the rest of the image without it overwriting the actual menu links?
thank you

April 13, 2015 at 5:13 pm #427619Hey!
Please choose to display transparent header – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/intro-to-the-header-configurator/

YigitApril 14, 2015 at 6:06 am #427996Nice one…kind of worked…worked in what I was after but there is a side effect in that the menu is now not centred and as the page is extended, the menu will creep towards the right.
Is this an expected outcome?
Cheers
April 14, 2015 at 6:08 am #427997also the menu seems to be a different x axis placement for each page now…
April 15, 2015 at 3:31 am #428630Hey!
The header should still be in the middle after that. Did you add any html tags inside the layer slider? Please update the theme to 3.1.3.
Cheers!

That aside, anyway to either fix the non-centre issue, or update without FTP?
Thanks again
Cheers
April 16, 2015 at 11:12 am #429498Hi!
Did you add any modifications, css or php, aside from setting the header to transparent? I tested this on my installation and header stays centered. You can update directly in the theme options: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Best regards,
IsmaelApril 17, 2015 at 1:37 am #430045I’ve done a few css changes, but thats all. Just tried to remove all of the quick css code and the logo is still the same.
Is there a way which I can apply CSS to make the nav menu container transparent. I’ve tried a couple of classes, but can’t seem to find the right one? I’m thinking that will be the easiest way, as soon as I remove the transparent option on the homepage, the logo is centred again…very strange:)
cheers
April 19, 2015 at 4:55 am #430807Hi!
This is the css code that breaks it:
.container { padding-right: 0px !important; }
Remove it from the Quick CSS field.
Cheers!
IsmaelApril 20, 2015 at 4:01 am #431041I’ve removed that code, and the menus are still not centred…:(
Cheers
April 21, 2015 at 5:55 am #431757Hey!
It looks horizontally aligned on smaller screens. Add this in the Quick CSS field:
#wrap_all { position: relative; }
Please update the theme to the latest version, 3.1.3.
Best regards,
IsmaelApril 23, 2015 at 12:20 am #433174Yes…this worked…
I will look to upgrading, is there something specific to the upgrade which addresses this?
thanks again

Yes, if you update then it should not be happening. Go ahead and update to the latest version, http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/update-theme-files-with-ftp/.
