Hi,
I would like to have a picture within an advanced layer slider, if a user clicks on this specific picture the video (Vimeo) will start in a lighbox. The picture will not be a background picture but one out of a few picture on this slide. The video needs to start as soon THIS picture is clicked on.This is possible with a regular picture in a page by adding a url link (including hover over effect, etc -> very good) … BUT I need to have this within an advanced layer slider ;-)
I managed to have the video within the slider, it does start on click, but I have not figured out to have a picture for that (not a button).
Any help more than welcomg
I have not set this up on my website as I still try to set up the layer slider.Thank you for your support

thank you for your reply. As mentioned above I have not added to the site, as I´m sill trying to get it solved…. ;-)
I would like to have an advanced layer slider with some picture on it and by clicking on one specific picture a video (not background) should start playing.
I found youtube tutorials for having a text on the slider and if you click on this text the video will play, but I found no descpription of having a picture as a “starting button” ..Therefor I need some generell advice to my question which will help me to start setting it up on my site
best regards,

this is not a theme related question and that’s why we can’t really help you with thi, but as a starting point I feel this could be the right direction: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5123489/how-to-overlay-a-play-button-over-a-youtube-thumbnail-image/5123612#5123612
