I’m using an Advanced Layer Slider on the index page of my blog and just noticed that, instead of a short description of my site, some code related the Advanced Layer Slider now shows up in the search results:
[av_layerslider id=’26’] [av_section min_height=” min_height_px=’500px’ padding=’default’ shadow=’no-shadow’ bottom_border=’no-border-styling’ …
You’ve visited this page many times. Last visit: 9/2/15
Is there a way to keep this from happening? I noticed the same effect when I link to posts of my blog on Facebook, Twitter and similar platforms.
I would appreciate any help or pointers.
Thanks.
Hi MadRhino!
Install this plugin, https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/, and set the title and description for your homepage.
