I’m just building a new site with a client, last night out of the blue after working on the site for a week, she hit save and half her page elements in the advanced editor vanished when it reloaded, we spent a couple of hours rebuilding and then hit save and it popped back to the version from a few hours ago. I spent a few hours with the hosting companies support, as it started happening frequently after that. every 3 – 5 saves something (I think usually at the bottom of the page) might go missing. Support couldn’t find a concrete reason but had a cache theory. We only had woocommerce and pods plugins active, and they thought pods cache might be interfering with their systems cache but it was still happening in their staging environment, which they don’t cache. I then made a fresh install on a separate host installed enfold and imported the pages, used no plug ins, so just brand new enflod and new upto date wordpress, My host jacked up the limits in the php.ini file and after a day or so of building its happening again. If I do too much work on the page below it risks half of it vanishing.

    Any ideas?

    Hey mattolf,

That usually happens when there is open html markup present in the builder, could you look for anything like that in your content?

If you can’t find any then please post admin login details in private and try to describe where it’s breaking and we’ll have a closer look at it.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Hmm Thanks for your reply, I’ll make sure to keep an eye out for that, I mean it has happened once or twice when I’ve just been duplicating columns and images, but it hasn’t happened in a few days. I will see if I can find a replicable set up where it happens consistently.

    Many thanks
    Matt
