Hi,
when I use the Advanced Editor in a Post, I suddenly have no sidebar, breadcrumbs etc. Using the default editor, the posts display as they should.
How can I get the same layout? Thanks in advance.
May 13, 2015 at 7:58 am #443584Hi 2SINN!
Did you check your settings in the right sidebar in the post edit screen to verify if you have the settings you like or not? The ALB for posts is a bit different from the regular editor since it gives you greater freedom to create more advanced posts.
Cheers!
RikardMay 13, 2015 at 10:48 am #443678Hi,
thanks for you reply. I disabled the sidebar on the ‘posts/blog’ page, but I want them on the individual posts. The settings in the editor-sidebar are correct.

Could you please provide us with a temporary admin login so that we can take a closer look? You can post the details here as a private reply.

Please update the the theme to 3.1.5. That should fix the issue. Increase the wp memory limit as well: http://www.dailyblogging.org/wordpress/increase-wordpress-memory-limit/

IsmaelMay 19, 2015 at 11:03 am #446325Hi Ismael,
I updated Enfold and increased the memory limit. But still, wenn I change it to the Advanced Editor, I lose the sidebar, breadcrumbs, social links etc.
Any other ideas?Regards
May 21, 2015 at 3:18 pm #447755Hi!
please use the normal editor for posts. Using Advanced Layout Builder for posts gives you much more freedom, but you need to start everything from scratch. So you would need to build your own breadcrumbs, sidebar, social links with ALB.
However, I could see this question/problem quite often here, so feel free to make a feature request for Kriesi here:

If there are lots of feature request for this, then we might see a better solution in the future :). Thanks for taking the time!Regards,
AndyMay 21, 2015 at 3:25 pm #447760Hi Andy,
thanks for your reply. Since I am using a child-theme already, is there a way to build a template file for ALB-Posts, which include the currently missing elements?
Regards
2SINNMay 22, 2015 at 8:28 pm #448601Hello!
It is possible but it would require a heavy modification to the theme, unfortunately that’s beyond our support scope. You can request a customisation quote from a third-party provider here.
