Just recently when I am in the backend and adding content The menu at the top of pages which used to include a button ” “Edit Page” is no longer there. There is a black row at the top where the menu was but it does not have any buttons.
June 24, 2018 at 6:57 pm #977176Hey bsahagian,
I suspect this could be a plug conflict, Try disabling your plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.
I also see you are using Enfold v4.07, please consider upgrading to v4.4.1Best regards,

June 24, 2018 at 9:44 pm #977219June 25, 2018 at 12:05 pm #977390Hi Mike,
I realized that I have to upgrade to premium. I have two websites only one premium enfold theme. Looks like a former webmaster bought one premium theme and used it 2 x. I am trying to buy a theme from Envato but I can not sign in. Have tried everything. I use the same password as I am using for this blog and does not work. I was in my account a couple of weeks ago but I can not get in now to purchase the premium theme. Can you help? BarryJune 25, 2018 at 12:26 pm #977399Hi Mike,
I did finally got logged in Envato and bought the premium theme. Do I just enter the new theme as I would on an upgrade? I see that I get 6 months support with a new theme purchase. Maybe I can get help with my problem if after I upload if the situation does not resolve after the upload?
Thanks
BarryJune 25, 2018 at 12:53 pm #977422Hi,
We are happy to assist, did you try to disable your plugins? Did that resolve the issue? Can you explain any changes that had been made just before you noticed this error?Updating alone may not resolve this issue as it could be a conflict, but updating the WordPress core & the theme with the plugins disabled could rule out most of the possible errors
To update, I recommend updating via ftp, by first renaming your enfold theme folder from “enfold” to “enfold-old” and then uploading your new theme folder as “enfold”, then login and check that your site runs well, if not, you can go back by renaming your new folder from “enfold” to “enfold-new” and rename “enfold-old” to “enfold”
If you are unsure of the process, we can assist if you include your ftp login, and a dropbox link to your theme file, in the Private Content area.Best regards,
MikeJune 26, 2018 at 11:44 am #977877Hi Mike, I uploaded the New Enfold Theme and It fixed all issues!! I like that renaming technique. I previously used to use a backup program to do something like this.
Thanks for your help … very effective !!
