Hi,
I’m using the structured data markup helper.
My question is how should I add the the structured micro data markup to my blog post.
If I copy all the html into the text editor, text view, it works, but it includes all the html of the whole page.
So it repeats the header and the menu etc.
Is there a way to fix this?
Should I leave part of the html out?
After adding this html will I still be able to edit my post?
Do you recommend adding structured micro data markup to a blog post?
Thanks for your help,
Lisa
Hey sundara88,
What micro markup data are you referring to? Can you give an example?
Best regards,
Victoria

Hi Lisa,
The Advanced Layout Editor supports structured data and yes, you can use Yoast too.
https://cl.ly/5bba67b24c80 It is activated in the theme options in the General builder tab.

HI Victoria,
Does this mean I don’t have to do anything because the theme is already adding structured data?
Thanks,
Lisa
Hi,
Thank you for the update.
Does this mean I don’t have to do anything because the theme is already adding structured data?
It depends on the site’s requirements. The theme includes basic schema markup to the templates and builder elements, which is usually enough for simple blog sites, but you may need to improve it a bit if you really want to organize the structure of your pages or portray a specific business niche. As suggested previously, you can disable the default markup from the theme and install a third party plugin like Yoast, or try one of these plugins.
