Adding start, stop forward and back controls to Testimonials slider

I am looking to add some manual controls to my testimonials slider so that people can control the rotation. (Some of my testimonials are linger than others and the auto rotate can be annoying) not to mention that it pushes all the content up nd down which can be annoying if you do not realize that this is happening on a different part of the screen.

I am not sure if this is something that has been addressed but it would be a good feature to add purely from an accessibility standpoint.
