Adding social media icons/links to header

I would like to be able to add social media icons like yelp and houzz to the header using the your social profiles section in enfold.

I have found so many threads but most of them I find don’t have the solution posted, it was done and not shown.

I did find a thread from 2013 but not sure if this is too outdated to use and there is a better way.
