    When searching for this solution I found this thread which is what I would like to accomplish:

    I have created a widget called “Blog Search” and have placed it in an advanced editor template for my posts which works great (Loving this theme). Please refer to link 1 in (Private Content).

    I am trying to add the search widget on top of the categories/archived posts page so that it looks like this: Please refer to link 2 in (Private Content)

    I tried the solution mentioned above but I can not get it to work. Any help would be appreciated.

    Everything is possible, but that would need a lot of work to be done.
