    Hi!

    I want to add a script which embeds and streams a video into a page. When I use the Advanced Layout Builder it’s impossible to add this script within a text block (TEXT mode, not the VISUAL mode).

    I can only add this when using the standard editor.

    Is there a way to add scripts when using the Advanced Layout builder?

    You can do it using a Text block element, put it while being in the Text tab:

    Hi Josue.

    Thx for your reply.

    I already tried this but it’s impossible to save the text block after I entered the script. When I click the save button the window keeps open. When I close it and hit “Update” to save all changes on the page the result is “Add some content here” (default text).

    Hi!

    I tried it on my local installation, and got no issues so far saving, after saving there was a JavaScript error in the console, i think it would be better to create a custom shortcode, something like [webcam_stream] that renders the script. This tool could help you doing it.

    I have the same problem. I can not include JS in the Avia Layout Builder.
    After click “Save”, the window is blank.

    Create a shortcode or something similar is not an option. Most partnerprogramms provide the ads as JS.

    Hey!

    Make sure that you place the javascript on Text or HTML mode of the editor.

    Sure I place the code in the HTML mode. But this is not working with the Avia Layout Builder.

    Hi!

    We’re aware of this limitation (see: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/preformatted-text-in-layout-builder/ ) and it’s on our todo list. For now you can use a plugin like: http://wordpress.org/plugins/insert-html-snippet/ to insert your snippets.
