Hi,
I’d like to add ‘Houzz’ (http://www.houzz.co.uk/) to the social media icons in Enfold. Please can you tell me how this can be done? I’m including the specific Houzz URL below.
Thanks, Andrew
Hi Andrew!
Please see – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/custom-social-icons/

Hi Yigit,
Thanks for the quick response. I did see that post, but I’m afraid I need more basic instructions: How do I add this code? To what file? Do I need to substitute the specific Houzz details into part of the code?
Apologies for my ignorance!
Andrew
Hey!
Code should go to Functions.php file in Appearance > Editor. You should firstly add Houzz icon by referring to this post – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/adding-your-own-icon-fonts/
If you need help, please create a temporary admin login and post it here privately.
Regards,
Yigit
Thanks for bearing with me!
Ok, I’ve found and downloaded the appropriate icon from fontello as a zip and have successfully added it to the site. (I can see and use it from the icon list menu option.)
I have added the code to Functions.php as directed in your last reply. I suspect now I need to substitute the icon name in this code, but am not sure…
I’ve set up a temp admin login as requested.
Andrew
Of course (!), you’ll need this site address:
Hey!
Changes are done, please review your website now.
You have accidentally added the code to Style.css file of your child theme instead of Fuctions.php file. I moved the code to correct file and it works.
Cheers!
Yigit
Thank you. There’s just one remaining issue. The icon and link now work, but when hovering over the Houzz icon it says ‘icon_name’ and not Houzz. I’ve tried a few things but can get this to change.
Andrew
Thanks for helping so quickly Yigit!
