I went into appearance, function-enfold php and added the code I got from facebook. However, I got an error when I tried to update it.
 This is the error message:
Your PHP code changes were rolled back due to an error on line 2495 of file wp-content/themes/enfold/functions-enfold.php. Please fix and try saving again.
syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘, expecting end of file
 Can you help?
 Thanks-

 June 16, 2018 at 3:16 pm #973609Hey fionayoung,
I see your site is back up, and I don’t see your facebook pixel code in your functions-enfold.php, so I assume you were able to remove it.
If you still need to add the script, please enter it into the Enfold Theme Options > Google Services > Google Analytics Tracking Code box, because this box adds it’s content into the header of your site.
Or you could use a plugin such as Header and Footer ScriptsBest regards,
MikeJune 16, 2018 at 3:18 pm #973613OK. I got my host (Siteground) to fix the problem. I am now terrified to add any code ever again. Can you confirm that the above will work? Do you know why my whole site would have gone down, given the code I entered? Thanks June 16, 2018 at 6:01 pm #973670Hi, There was clearly a code conflict within the file that cause the site to fail. This would have happened with pretty much any broken code that disrupts the normal function of a theme file. So you should be able to add various codes, you just need to be sure it is put in correctly and error free. Best regards,
 Jordan Shannon
