    Hi there,
I am using the advanced editor rather than the standard WooCommerce install to manage the display of our product catalogue.
Is there a way to display breadcrumbs (but only in the product catalogue pages, not throughout the whole site), so you could display something like

Oils/Infused Olive Oils/Chilli Infused Olive Oil

Or, if you are viewing the product Chilli Infused Olive Oil – can you display a bread crumb that would direct to its parent category before it?
So it would say something like Back to – Infused Olive Oils
Or if viewing the category of Infused Olive Oils you can have a breadcrumb that says Back to Oils (which would be the parent category of Infused Olive Oils)

And is it possible to choose where you actually place this on the product detail page so it doesn’t interfere with other elements of the template layout?

    Hey craigriches,

When I clicked on the links you posted it returns 500 Internal Server Error.

As for your request, you can refer to this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/display-breadcrumbs-only-in-woocomerce-shop/

    Best regards,

your experience of 500 Internal Server Error could be that this is because the site is located on a “development” server.
I have just tried again myself with that address and they both load. Could you try again?
I looked at the link you provided, but this seems related to standard WooCommerce set up and not using the Avia Builder, or am I mis-interpreting the instructions?

    Hi,

I checked and it’s still the same, returning 500 Internal Server Error. The link I pointed out works even if you are using the default editor or the advance layout builder as long as it is a woocommerce product. The way it works is enabling the breadcrumbs on the whole website, then hiding it in all pages except for product pages.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hi Nikko
Sorry about that, must be because it is a development website and requires log in to access.
Anyway, I tried the code in the link you provided (including the !important for Quick CSS)
Sadly it still didnt work. I also made sure to clear the Cache.
A link to a screen shot of the product page in Private Content

    Hi craigriches ,

I could see the page now properly but I could not see the breadcrumb added. Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend. Login credentials include:

    • The URL to the login screen.
    • A valid username (with full administration capabilities).
    • As well as a password for that username.
    • permission to deactivate plugins if necessary.

    Best regards,
    Nikko
