I was following the instructions in this post and after updating the functions.php file of my child theme, my site is throwing 500 errors all over the place. Can’t access anything on the domain.

I tried replacing the child theme’s functions.php using my cPanel file manager, to no avail.

Help is desperately needed and will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi!

I replaced functions.php file of your child theme with a pre-built one and that solved the issue. Please review your website now.
You can find old functions.php file of your child theme in private content field

    Best regards,
