Hello
I have this functioning nicely in a footer column widget –
<ul class="noLightbox social_bookmarks icon_count_4"> <li class="social_bookmarks_youtube av-social-link-youtube social_icon_1"><a target="_blank" href="https://www.youtube.com/user/LedmacVideos?feature=mhum" aria-hidden="true" data-av_icon="" data-av_iconfont="entypo-fontello" title="Youtube"><span class="avia_hidden_link_text">Youtube</span></a></li> <li class="social_bookmarks_facebook av-social-link-facebook social_icon_2"><a target="_blank" href="https://www.facebook.com/Ledingham-McAllister-137112966347735/" aria-hidden="true" data-av_icon="" data-av_iconfont="entypo-fontello" title="Facebook"><span class="avia_hidden_link_text">Facebook</span></a></li> <li class="social_bookmarks_twitter av-social-link-twitter social_icon_3"><a target="_blank" href="https://twitter.com/LedMacHomes" aria-hidden="true" data-av_icon="" data-av_iconfont="entypo-fontello" title="Twitter"><span class="avia_hidden_link_text">Twitter</span></a></li> <li class="social_bookmarks_gplus av-social-link-gplus social_icon_4"><a target="_blank" href="https://plus.google.com/111072152392415957394" aria-hidden="true" data-av_icon="" data-av_iconfont="entypo-fontello" title="Gplus"><span class="avia_hidden_link_text">Gplus</span></a></li> </ul>
The client wants to add instagram so I added in this –
<ul class="noLightbox social_bookmarks icon_count_5”> <li class="social_bookmarks_youtube av-social-link-youtube social_icon_1"><a target="_blank" href="https://www.youtube.com/user/LedmacVideos?feature=mhum" aria-hidden="true" data-av_icon="" data-av_iconfont="entypo-fontello" title="Youtube"><span class="avia_hidden_link_text">Youtube</span></a></li> <li class="social_bookmarks_facebook av-social-link-facebook social_icon_2"><a target="_blank" href="https://www.facebook.com/Ledingham-McAllister-137112966347735/" aria-hidden="true" data-av_icon="" data-av_iconfont="entypo-fontello" title="Facebook"><span class="avia_hidden_link_text">Facebook</span></a></li> <li class="social_bookmarks_twitter av-social-link-twitter social_icon_3"><a target="_blank" href="https://twitter.com/LedMacHomes" aria-hidden="true" data-av_icon="" data-av_iconfont="entypo-fontello" title="Twitter"><span class="avia_hidden_link_text">Twitter</span></a></li> <li class="social_bookmarks_gplus av-social-link-gplus social_icon_4"><a target="_blank" href="https://plus.google.com/111072152392415957394" aria-hidden="true" data-av_icon="" data-av_iconfont="entypo-fontello" title="Gplus"><span class="avia_hidden_link_text">Gplus</span></a></li> <li class="social_bookmarks_instagram av-social-link-instagram social_icon_5”><a target="_blank" href="https://www.instagram.com/ledmachomes/" aria-hidden="true" data-av_icon="" data-av_iconfont="entypo-fontello" title=“Instagram”><span class="avia_hidden_link_text">Instagram</span></a></li> </ul>
What happens, though, is the icons are not displaying properly.
Instagram doesn;t show up and the first one is our of alignment and grey. Please advise. Thanks! :)

Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
Login credentials include:
- The URL to the login screen.
- A valid username (with full administration capabilities).
- As well as a password for that username.
- permission to deactivate plugins if necessary.
Best regards,
YigitJanuary 30, 2017 at 9:14 pm #740419Thanks, Yigit
Social links are in column 2 in the footer widget. I simply added the new li for instagram and it looked weird and didn’t show up. Please note that the home page is live and yes deactivate plugins if needed, but again it’s live!
Info, below :)
January 31, 2017 at 2:57 pm #740662Hi,
I enabled social icons in footer and then copied the code once again and updated your code in widget area. Please review your website now :)
Best regards,
YigitJanuary 31, 2017 at 9:54 pm #740896Ok, that looks great, thanks! Did you just copy and paste from the source code? Also, the hotspot image is doing odd things. I rebuilt it a couple of times because it was missing a numbered item even though I turned the numbers off. On mobile I see ‘Precedence’ where it’s supposed to be but it also appears where the ‘Byrne Secondary School’ is supposed to show. Please advise and thanks again :)
February 1, 2017 at 1:51 pm #741221Hi,
1- Yes, i simply copied from source code.
2- Can you please post a screenshot and show the issues? You can upload your screenshots on imgur.com or Dropbox public folder and post the links here. Also, please point out your page :)Best regards,
YigitFebruary 2, 2017 at 1:11 am #7415101 – Ok, thanks! I’ll know for next time and won’t have to bother you :)
2 – The page in question is in the private area, as are links to 2 screenshots where number 16 is correct and number 8 is wrong – it should read ‘Bryne Creek Secondary School’ which is number 9. There is no number 9 if you turn on numbers. That seems to be causing a problem. It’s really buggy. Also the very top left dot – ie, number 1 – is not working on hover; it’s supposed to say ‘UBC’.thanks! :)
February 2, 2017 at 2:10 pm #741778Hi,
It seems like your hotspots are placed on top of each other. Please see the screencast below.
I have not made any changes on your site. Let us know if changing the positions of hotspots do not help :)Best regards,
YigitFebruary 2, 2017 at 8:35 pm #742016Silly me! I must have been really tired on the 3rd build. I just kept adding hotspots and forgot to place some of them. Thanks so much!
Also, I just figured out why some of the hotspots weren’t working – since the page uses a transparent header all of the ones along the top were being overridden by the header area, so I just made my image with more sky to move them down a bit and now it all works prefectly :)
