Hey guys, I’ve been trying to get my client to catch this glitch happening on screen. Please watch about 2 minutes into the film:

When she adds a link in the tab area it deletes all of the tabs.
Please advise.

I tried re-creating it on the test site but am not getting the same issue. See my Tabs Test page for an example. Is this on a specific browser?
Cheers!

I am working with my client adding her own content and we ran into another issue with the content being deleted and saying “undefined” after she cut and pasted stuff in there.

She finds that if she writes all the content herself, it doesn’t do that, but when she cuts and pastes large bits of content things get deleted.
Just a heads up.

Personally I couldn’t reproduce the issue: http://www.screenr.com/tsJH – even with a very long text. I marked the thread for Kriesi – maybe he can reproduce it.
Best regards,

I wonder if it was to do with a certain set of shortcodes that create the hiccup.
November 12, 2013 at 12:47 pm #187191Hey!
Yes or WP didn’t save the post/page properly when the user first created the entry and the corrupt data in the database now causes weird side effects. If we can reproduce the issues on two or more pages we’ll look into it and hopefully we can find some similarities which help us to find the culprit.
Cheers!
PeterNovember 12, 2013 at 5:55 pm #187373Another possibility is that she wasn’t using the full column or color section when putting the content in there and maybe it works best when everything is within a proper “case”.
November 13, 2013 at 9:12 am #187653Hi!
As far as I know it doesn’t matter if the element is used in combination with another element or as a standalone element – the editor code itself is always the same and should work with copy/paste data. I couldn’t reproduce it with any configuration though.
Best regards,
