Added a child theme, and lost all formatting

I was moving down the line of development and created a child theme. But when I updated the site all the 1/3 columns appeared to become 1/1, and the color sections took over the backgrounds. When I reverted back to the original Enfold theme, the formatting stayed.

If I create a new page, the bad formatting remains.
