Hi All!
I’m trying to highlight specific words within the text input area on the Contact Form. I would like to make the word “center console” highlighted in another color, i’ve tried the normal span styling in this area with no luck. Can someone please assist?
You guys are the best, thanks in advance.
October 17, 2017 at 10:24 am #865215Hey Kara,
Thanks for the link, though I can’t see those words anywhere on the page. Could you point them out please? Also, are you using a plugin to create that layout?
Best regards,

I’m not using a plugin, just the Avia Contact Form. Please see attachment in private area.
Thank you
October 17, 2017 at 6:31 pm #865405Hi,
Seeing as that is placeholder text – not text string – this is not easily possible. If you have some coding know how, it may be possible to target and style via JS.

Thanks for your reply, I see. I have some basic coding knowledge in html/css so I may be able to do it if you wouldn’t mind walking me through it a bit. Would this be possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much.
October 18, 2017 at 10:04 am #865607Hi,
Thanks for the feedback, I think it will be difficult to target just a few words since they won’t be wrapped in an element which can be targeted. I wanted to check your site again but it looks like it’s asking for a login now, not only password?

Sorry about that. Please see private info area.
October 19, 2017 at 12:53 am #866013Hello! Any chance anyone could help me out with this? It’s fairly important. Thank you all very much!
October 19, 2017 at 5:55 pm #866357Hi,
Yes, apologies based on this being placeholder we’re not able to target it. This is not a theme issue or limitation, but just a limitation of form code. Apologies for the delay.
Best regards,

Thanks for your reply. Any ideas on how to work around this?
October 19, 2017 at 6:16 pm #866380Hi,
As I mentioned, the only thing I could think that may be possible is perhaps some sort of JS workaround, but that goes beyond the scope of support here in the forums. If you search threw stackoverflow perhaps you can find better direction.
Best regards,
