    Hi,
    I’ve successfully moved the search icon from the main menu to the secondary menu by editing the functions-enfold.php as follows but could you confirm how I make this part of my child theme so that future theme updates won’t overwrite the change.

    Line edited: if ((is_object($args) && $args->theme_location == ‘avia2’)

    I’m using the WordPress 4.5.3 and Enfold 3.6.1 and created a child theme.

    Sorry for the delay, please undo the modifications and share the link where we can see the element in question so we can provide you with proper code that you can add to child themes function.php
