The Order by option is available in the masonry element but doesn’t appear to be available for blog grid element.
Is there an easy way to make this option active for the avia blog grid element?
Would like to be able to have choice flexibility to display posts by Date, Title and Random etc
Awesome theme, awesome support team!! Thank You!!

To add the sort option to the blog post elements please refer to our documentation here http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-add-an-orderorderby-option-to-the-blogpost-sliderportfoliomasonry-grid-element/

Yes I am aware of that function which ‘switches on’ the functionality. That’s almost 3 years old…in the meantime the ‘Order by’ functionality has been already included in the masonry and portfolio grid elements. Why not the blog post element?
Is this planned for future release? I believe many users would love to have this functionality without having to add a function override.February 1, 2017 at 6:35 am #741008Hi,
Sorry for the late reply. We don’t have any plans for implementing that right now unfortunately, but you can submit a feature request for it here: https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/

RikardFebruary 2, 2017 at 8:47 pm #742021Surely that was an oversight that only the blog post element doesn’t have the check boxes for setting ‘order by’
or is there a reason why specifically the blog post element has these settings omitted?
February 7, 2017 at 9:09 pm #744086Hi,
As far as I know there is no specific reason, new features will be added and hopefully we will see this in the future updates.
Please feel free to request such feature at our feature request system: https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/
This system allows us to keep track of user suggestions and lets you vote on the feature you would like to see the most. I am afraid though there is no guarantee that a feature will get implemented.
Best regards,
