    Hi there

    When someone clicks on a portfolio category, they view the default layout of portfolio items (featured image with title underneath).

    How can I also add the excerpt to this portfolio category view
    I presume it’s somewhere in
    /enfold/taxonomy-portfolio_entries.php

    Hi, I’m sorry I can’t as it’s a clients live site … What other information do you need?

    All i want to do is to include an excerpt underneath the portfolio archive taxonomy.

    This did not help.

    I know how to add an excerpt to a portfolio item.
    Instead i want to add the excerpt to a default portfolio category view.

    Please reread my initial message again.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. You have to modify the taxonomy-portfolio_entries.php file in order to do that. Look for this code around line 33:

    'contents' 	=> 'title',

    Set the content attribute from “title” to “excerpt”.
