Add blank vertical space between burger menu items

I would like to add a blank/placeholder space between burger menu items – i am using the burger/icon menu as my main menu. So, instead of this:

menu item 1
menu item 2
menu item 3

it would look like this:

menu item 1
menu item 2
(blank space here…no title, no text)
menu item 3

I know the menu id of that item, just don’t have a clue what code to do this…thank you!!
