Is it possible to add icons to be used with the icon box and icon features of enfold? I know that enfold uses Entypo icons, but flaticon.com has thousands of additional free vector icons.

Yes the file to be uploaded should still be prepared by Fontello which allows you to upload your own icons through the site to be created into a zipped package.
