    Hi,
we activated lazy loading in the theme options a long while ago but recently came across a setting that makes me wonder whether it is actually working: If you click on an image on a single page and look at the settings there, you have the option of activating or deactivating lazy loading. On all images it seems to be deactivated by default. Is that really so? That would mean that we have to activate it for every single image on the website separately, so I´m hoping I´m wrong ;)
I searched for infos on this in the forum but the search produced a critical error (you might want to check that), so forgive me if there is already there somewhere.

    Best regards,
    Sara

    Hey sarawh,
Thanks for your patience, the global setting at Enfold Theme Options ▸ Performance ▸ Lazy Loading is to globaly manage lazy loading of WP images but not for each ALB element separately.

the lazy load option in the image element (since v5.5) is disabled by default as it may not be compatible with animations in the element, please note the explanation in the image element:

If you are not using the animations like fade in or slide in on your images then it will be safe to enable this for each element. Hopefully this helps explains.

    Hey Mike,
Thanks for getting back to me. If I understand you correctly, then lazy loading has to be enabled manually for all images in ALB elements (this will amount to about 90% of the images on our site). Can you tell me which images are set globally – I´m guessing blog images?

    Thanks and best regards,
    Sara

    Hi,
Is is correct, and the Enfold Theme Options ▸ Performance ▸ Responsive Images And Lazy Loading ▸ Lazy Loading sets the blog post featured images.

    Best regards,
    Mike
