Hey,
I am currently working on a site where it would be awesome to have accordions in the sidebar closing automatically when another one opens.
I created the sidebar using this method, meaning first a menu for each of the accordion tabs, then put each of them in a widget, then used the code from the linked post to create another widget which resulted in a nice and working sidebar with 4 accordions.
Now in addition to that, we want to implement that the accordion tab which is open, closes when another one is opened.
Can this be achieved?Cheers

at first do this: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/turn-on-custom-css-field-for-all-alb-elements/
then you can create the accordion element the way you need it on a normal page using ALB. Then use the new shortcoded created below ALB’s content to insert them as you widget.Best regards,

January 16, 2017 at 2:40 pm #734050Hi,
You can create your accordion element and choose to display 1 tab open at a time and then copy the shortcode and paste it into text widget in your sidebar as Andy described and it should work fine.
If you would like us to look into it, please create a temporary admin login and post it here privately.Best regards,

February 17, 2017 at 5:54 pm #748561Hi,
when editing your accordion element then go to “Verhalten” and choose “Nur ein offenes Toggle erlaubt”.
However you did not activate debug mode yet, so please do so, here again the link: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/
I created a test page for you, with an accordion element (s. private content link). After you’ve activated debug mode, you can access the shortcodes of my test page and use them inside your widget or wherever else you want.
Best regards,

Does this mean WP needs to run in debug mode all the time?February 21, 2017 at 5:13 pm #750051Hi,
there is no need for it, until you want to work with shortcodes.
Best regards,
Andy -
