i am not able to use the Accordion feature suddenly. I create the Accordion add some toggles/content, haven’t been able to get past 3 toggles. It works for the initial couple of toggles then I get an Error: Error fetching content – please reload the page and try again and I can’t access the Accordion again. Have to delete and start over. I’ve deactivated plugins, doesn’t help. Please advise.
October 22, 2015 at 11:28 pm #523356Hey scarlettr8!
Can you please disable all the plugins you have active and let us know if it works after?
Thanks a lotBest regards,
BasilisOctober 22, 2015 at 11:45 pm #523365As I mentioned, I deactivated all plugins and it still didn’t work. It would work and save, and I could add more toggles for a couple, then I would start getting the error. I though maybe there was a limit to the text/content amount so I tested with brief sentences and it still went to error after a couple. I optimized the database, tried it on a completely different, then a new page. Cannot get it to work.
October 23, 2015 at 3:20 pm #523904Hi!
Can you please post the link to your website?
Please make sure that you are using the latest version which is currently 3.3.2 – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/Cheers!
YigitOctober 23, 2015 at 7:29 pm #524077Hi,
Link to site included. I’ll need an email to set you up as a user so you can get into the admin. The issue does not appear on the frontend. Go ahead and deactivate all of the plugins if you need to. I’ve already done that and it didn’t help, but you may want to. Thanks.
Yes everything is up-to-date…WP, themes, plugins. Except Enfold has not updated the LayerSlider to the new version that has been out for some time now.
October 23, 2015 at 8:48 pm #524101Hey!
You can go ahead and use any email address and post the credentials in the private section.
Cheers!

October 23, 2015 at 9:12 pm #524107Here’s the page you can see the accordion problem on. Try to edit one of the accordions (I don’t normally have two). One works, one doesn’t.
October 23, 2015 at 9:19 pm #524110Hey!
I created a test page with 5 toggles and I have not gotten an error message:
http://66.147.244.176/~eaglesor/testing/
What page are you experiencing the error message on?
Cheers!
DakeOctober 23, 2015 at 9:27 pm #524112Problem page.
October 23, 2015 at 9:46 pm #524121Well, I just created a new page an added a new accordion and got the error. This accordion has 2 toggles with much more content in it than your test page. Is there some limit to the amount of content that can go into a toggle?
October 27, 2015 at 9:27 am #525366Hey!
What content are you trying to add? Please post the content on pastebin.com, we would like to check it. The second accordion on the test page works OK.
Regards,
IsmaelOctober 28, 2015 at 9:41 pm #526410I have identified that something is wrong with this content as I am getting the same error when I copy into a text box. It is just plain text so I have no idea why it would trigger an error. Thanks.
October 29, 2015 at 3:44 am #526508Hi!
I’m still not experiencing the error on either page.
I also added your pastebin content in a text block and accordion toggle.
Have you tried clearing your cache or performing any of the testing steps on a different device/connection?
Regards,
DakeOctober 29, 2015 at 4:01 am #526511Thanks, yes I tried a different device and connection yesterday and had an error with the text on pastebin.com. I am suspecting a possible timeout on the server when I try to add a very large block of text. But, if that was the case I would have expected you to experience it if you used all of the text I provided. Can you confirm there are no limits to the number of characters or size with the accordion text area?
October 29, 2015 at 4:17 am #526514Hey!
I am now experiencing the error on your website, however I am unable to reproduce the error on my test server.
The content alone shouldn’t be affecting either content builder elements.
At this point we would recommend backing up, then reinstalling a fresh copy of WP and Enfold to resolve this issue.
Best regards,
DakeOctober 29, 2015 at 4:25 am #526516Thanks. I’ve already re-installed WordPress and Enfold once and it didn’t resolve the problem. The fact that it works sometimes and not others, and only fails with these large blocks of text is confusing?
October 29, 2015 at 11:59 pm #527223Hi!
Seems the server doesn’t like when big chunks of texts are passed via AJAX (all Avia popups are ajax-based). A solution could be to use a plugin like this (it allows you to store texts to later be referenced in form of [shortcode]).
Regards,
JosueJanuary 24, 2016 at 7:16 am #570719It’s apparent other users are experiencing issues with content similar to my problem indicated here..which has not been resolved. I’ve changed servers, replaced/updated everything, disabled plugins and this issue/error still happens. Have you tested for limits in text boxes?
January 25, 2016 at 10:39 am #571200We can’t really test with all server types and configurations, can you pass me texts you’re trying to use again? i’ll test on my install and let you know what i find.
Cheers!
JosueJanuary 25, 2016 at 8:10 pm #571588Couldn’t upload a text file, so the text is below. Each capitalized title indicates a new tab. Structure is vertical tabs. Thanks

January 27, 2016 at 5:47 am #572583Hi!
I tried this text on an accordion but I don’t get the error. We would like to access the site but it only leads us to a 404 page. Please check then try to increase the wp memory limit to at least 128M: https://docs.woothemes.com/document/increasing-the-wordpress-memory-limit/
Best regards,
IsmaelJanuary 27, 2016 at 5:51 am #572586Sorry new host.
Memory is already set at 256M
Were you able to include all of the text in multiple tabs?January 28, 2016 at 7:55 am #573538Hey!
Alright. I was able to reproduce the issue on a test page and it seems to be related to an ajax script. I tried to test it on firefox but the login credentials are not working. Did you change it? I wonder how I managed to logged in on chrome. https://kriesi.at/support/topic/accordion-has-stopped-working/#post-524105
This is the test page: http://108.179.228.91/wp-admin/post.php?post=13873&action=edit
Please post the FTP details here so that we can do some further testing. This is the error in the console:
