Hello,
I have created a test FAQ page using the accordion, but despite changing all settings to try and fix it, the accordion displays all questions and their answers and will not collapse.
Any suggestions?

There is a login prompt before being able to see the login page, could you include those details in private as well please?

GrahamMarch 6, 2020 at 11:35 am #1190823Hi,
Thank you for the update.
It was an issue with the merged file which probably contained the old scripts. We disabled the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings temporarily and this fixed the issue with the toggles. You can turn it back on if necessary.

The accordion now works (with your having disabled both CSS & Javascript compression), but this seems like a bandaid that is not really addressing the underlying issue. :(
I have retested and the accordion still works with only the Javascript disabled.
I have also retested with only the CSS disabled, and the accordion does not work.
My gut instinct is to remove the accordion altogether and keep compression enabled site wide on both CSS and Javascript, but perhaps you can shed some more light on this (especially regarding how the site’s performance may be effected with Javascript disabled permanently) or offer a better workaround…?
Many thanks in anticipation,
GrahamMarch 9, 2020 at 1:08 pm #1191488Hi,
Thank you for following up.
We tried to reproduce the issue on our end, but the Accordion element works fine with or without the JS compression, so this is something unique in your installation. Unfortunately, there are no errors generated in the browser console, so it’s a bit difficult to know where to start looking.
To fix the issue and still have the files compressed or minified, we disabled the theme’s compression settings and activated the Autoptimize plugin instead. It’s exactly the same as having the theme’s compression option enabled with additional options.

The accordion is now working, so you can close this thread.
Best wishes,
