    If I’m doing style customizations through the backend e.g changing fonts, will I lose those changes when I update the theme?

    Hi holsten76,

    No, the options within the theme options are saved to the theme name in the wordpress options table. So as long as the theme name stays the same the options are unaltered.

    The only thing that would be lost when you update are changes you make to the actual theme files.
