    Hello,

    I bought the theme Enfold on envato Theme Forest.

    There’s a message in the backoffice, saying : “Attention: The old Envato API is deprecated and will be shut down soon. In order to be able to use automated theme updates please generate a new valid API token and enter it above. Your themeforest username and your old API key will then be removed from your installation since they are no longer required.”

    Where can I generate a new API key ? Doesn’t seem possible from Theme Forest backoffice.

    Hi intweb24,

    Envato has deprecated API key and it would not work when trying to update themes/plugins from themeforest, it is now using tokens for update and you can generate the token here: https://build.envato.com/create-token/
    If you’re using a fairly old version of Enfold, you would need to do manual update first then register theme using the token, you can follow the instructions here: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
