    I have tried to use drop cap one big letter at the beginning of a blogpost. First of all it inserts Hello instead of Belize. Which is the first word. How do I change this? I can of course manually change H to B.

    And then it also shows ‘ello’ at the frontpage instead of hello, but when you open the blogpost it looks okay (if I change the the H to B). Hope anyone understand my problem :-D

    Hey lottekimknudsen,

    That’s not actually a bug, it’s since dropcap uses a shortcode and does not work like editor option like bold or italic. Here is what our devs told us regarding that: This is the intended behavior – user is prompted the shortcode with a default text and must replace it with the required text.

    Okay thank you for your answer. I can live with that, that I have to do it manually. But can you please answer me how to show all the tekst eg Hello instead of ello. As it shows this on the frontpage but when I open the blogpost it will show Hello correctly.

    Hi,

    H is not showing up since it’s inside a shortcode which is prevented to show, just use the excerpt field if you can’t see it, expand the Screen Options (located top right) then check Excerpt, this field should appear below the Content Editor. Then just paste the text you want to show up without the shortcode. Hope this helps :)

    I did try to use the excerpt field expanding the screen options. But nothing happens – I can’t see any field below the content editior or I don’t know where to look. Could you please try to explain it to me again?
