    Hi,

    I’ve successfully installed the Enfold Theme and a Child Theme – dashboard looks OKAY but when i click on the website it goes to an error page
    “500 – Internal server error”.

    I’m a beginner at WordPress and not sure why this is happening. other themes seems to work fine.

    please help

    Hey eisme!

    Please try to increase the allocated memory to 128M: http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
    You can contact your service provider and they can do it for you.

    Also, please try de-activating all active plugins and check if that helps.

    Hi Yigit,

    tried increasing the php memory and still not working. i don’t have any plugin installed (deleted all upon wordpress installation).

    now even my wp-admin access is not working – goes to the 500 internal server error.

    please help

    Hey!

    Please try re-updating the theme via FTP and overwrite all files – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
    If you would like us to update the theme for you, please post admin login credentials, FTP access here privately and upload the latest version of Enfold.zip file on your server and tell us where

    Hi, this matter was resolved by hosting provider so for anyone reading this post, best solution is what i mentioned.
