After trying to update my previous enfold theme (4.4.1 I believe) my site crashed and I was getting an HTTP 500 error. I had to go through cpanel and delete the old enfold theme and now I can view my admin dashboard if I am running the default theme, I’m purposely running the broken theme right now because the default doesn’t look good. I purchased and downloaded 4.5.6 through cpanel and now every time I try to activate it or see a live preview I get the same HTTP 500 error. Could someone please login into my cpanel and help me figure out what’s going on? Thank you!

I replied to your other post already, please try to update the PHP version on your server to 7.1 or higher. That should hopefully solve your problems.

RikardMay 4, 2019 at 5:35 am #1097067Hi Rikard,
On my dashboard I see that it says php update required, however, when I follow the link “learn more about updating php” it takes me to a CloudLinux page entitled “Good news Cloud Linux already took care about php version of your website” it’s saying my site is using hardened php which supports older versions of php. Do I still have to update php even with this and if so what’s the best way to go about that?
Thank you for the response!
Henry

Can you please check server log for error?

VictoriaMay 5, 2019 at 1:51 am #1097325Hi Victoria,
I’m not positive how to check that or get that to you from cpanel, I see server information but no server log would you be able to direct me to that or check it out in my cpanel?
Thanks,
Henry
