    Need to set up a 404 page for the WP site created using the Enfold theme…..

    Hey ERS,

    There should be a 404 template by default, did you remove it maybe? If you did you can try to upload the file or the whole theme again to your server using FTP: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    Hi Rikard,

    Thanks for the reply. Is there any way other than updating the theme. The WordPress Version also is asking for update which we have not yet done.

    Want to know if updating any of these would affect the site, content etc.

    Hi,

    Yes, you could upload the individual 404.php file only because it looks like the default one is not there. It might affect your site but will likely not if you have not made any changes to any of the theme files? Your settings and content should be safe but you should probably do a backup of your site just in case anything should go wrong anyway.
