Dear all,
Since a few days, one of our enfold-based websites is showing a 404 error regarding js-scripts in the wp-content/uploads/dynamic_avia/ – folder.
Sucuri is also reporting “Unable to scan the page. 404 Not Found”
GTmetrix is reporting very bad scores (C/D) for this site. All other enfold-powered websites are not showing any 404-script-errors and perform great regarding GTmetrix scores (A/B).
Regards,
Christine
Hey Bernhard,
I see that you have some optimisation plugins active on your site, what happens if you clear the cache from them and disable them. Also, what happens if you select to not load jQuery in the footer under Enfold->Performance? Remember to delete the old CSS and JS files as well on the same page.
Best regards,
Rikard
Hi Rikard,
Many thanks for your support. I have just flushed the optimization plugin cache and disabled the plugin. I also changed the settings in accordance with your email. The folder dynamic_avia is now containing only .css-files and the index.php.
I will start to monitor the 404 reports. Please stay tuned.
Regard,
Christine
Hi Rikard,
Update: There are already fifty 404er errors regarding the missing js-script (wp-content/uploads/dynamic_avia/avia-footer-scripts-xxxx).
Regards,
Christine
Hi Christine,
Thanks for the update, I can’t see any 404 errors on your site now though?
Best regards,
Rikard
Hi Rikard,
Thanks for checking.
I have enclosed the 404 error report in the private content area.
Regards,
Christine
Hi Christine,
I’m not sure why that is, but the file in question is a dynamic file and it shouldn’t be indexed anyhow. It’s a script file and there is no actual content in it, if everything is working on your site then it’s nothing to worry about.
Best regards,
Rikard
Hi Rikard,
Thank you very much for the confirmation. Please close the ticket!
Regards,
Christine
