    Frontpage is OK, and admin cp is also OK, but when clicking the menu links to show the pages, the dreaded 404 appears. This seems to be a common error, but I have tried adjusting the permalinks settings, and also adjusted the htaccess-file.

    No success.

    Can you help me out here, please?

    Hi Raymond!

    WordPress is trying to write your .htaccess but it’s not writable:

    Hvis .htaccess filen din var skrivbar kunne vi gjort dette automatisk, men det er den ikke. Dette er de mod_rewrite-reglene du bør ha i .htaccess filen. Klikk i feltet, og trykk CTRL + a for å velge alt.

    .htaccess configuration doesn’t seem to be enabled, try contacting your hosting provider about this.
