Hi, I use enfold and just completed the website.
I’m having a really strange problem and by googling it, I found some answers that dodn’t resolve it.The problem is that the homepage is a 404 error, no matter what page is set as homepage.
If I choose “Redirect to selected page” in “Custom Error 404 Page” (http://prntscr.com/n0yt58) and choose my homepage as the custom 404 page, I can have the homepage running, but this is not a real solution, as the page is considered as a 404 by Google.
With the redirect checker I get:
https:/Mydomain.com
302 Moved Temporarily
https:/Mydomain.com?avia_forced_reroute=1
404 Not Found
Also, the URL is appended ?avia_forced_reroute=1 after the domain. If I choose “Display selected page without redirect” I get in the checker
Everything seems to be fine.
https:/Mydomain.com
404 Not Found
If I choose “No custom 404 page selected”, I get a 404 in the home page (as a visitor). So, in any case, the problem is that my homepage is considered 404.
My WP installation was clean and I just imported your demo.Which means that the page I’m seeing is the custom 404, and not a real page.
This has to be solves rith away, as the site is live and crawled.
Any ideas?

March 26, 2019 at 3:06 am #1082936Hi,
We would like to apologize for not replying immediately.
A fix has been included in the latest version of the theme, 4.5.5. Is the site running on that version? How did you fix it?
Best regards,
IsmaelApril 24, 2019 at 9:06 pm #1094174I have this very same problem.
My webpage currently have two problems:
1: It is showing the error-page (which I as above can redirect to the homepage, but the URL will still show forced reroute 1.
2: My webpage is revisioning itself to a former version of itself, totally random.
So I log out, and then a few hours later I check the webpage and realize that some options has been changed…
I have no idea how to fix this, Enfold version is 4.5.6, WP version is 5.1.1, nothing seems weird.
This is the only two things out of the ordinary I have done:
1: I let a friend of mine login to the WP-page to see it while I still had the maintenance-mode activated. so he could see the progress of the page.
2: I once clicked “Reset all options” on Enfold, and noticed what changed and what didn’t, and then started to edit from there.Any ideas?
April 24, 2019 at 9:11 pm #1094175Want to add that it is constantly changing, we’re not talking about one change that I dont understand, the website is constantly changing settings or removing content or resetting itself to a former version…
April 25, 2019 at 2:58 pm #1094428Hi all
I have the same issue.
Really awful for SEO!
I tried to use no 404 redirection and for one website worked fine, but it is a no-sense to integrate a functionality that causes serious problems!
Please, I opened another topic regarding this issue and the participants / support users said that it wasn’t a issue due to the Enfold but by the server.
I tried to explain once and once again…
Please, let’s try to solve this issue ASAP!
Thanks!April 25, 2019 at 10:24 pm #1094554I fixed it, was my mistake, I had accidentily put in “show blog in Home page” on Enfold Theme Options, when you’re supposed to leave it blank if you dont have any blog.
For the other problem, that the website keeps changing, since I realized and changed this, it hasnt acted weird. Sorry for the trouble, and maybe this will help someone else :)
