    The 4.8.1 update caused all the videos on our site to stop working. This is a charity website, and the videos are part of our fundraising, so we had to immediately revert to 4.7.6.4. There also was an issue with Easy Slider – suddenly just a white area where the slides used to be. Basically brought our site down.

    So, unfortunately I can’t show you, since we could not afford to leave it not working, but thought you ought to know in case anyone else has a similar problem.

    Hi Roger,

    Can you setup a staging site so we can investigate further on the issue? Here’s a simple tutorial you can follow to create a staging site.
    Once done, please give us temporary admin access and post the credentials in private content.

    Hi Nikko,
    There are now 2 sites. The live one with the prior Enfold version 4.7.6.4 and a subdomain site with with the new enfold version 4.8.1.

    Hi Roger,

    Thanks, I have made the following steps on the stage site which fixes the issue:
    1. Go to Enfold > Performance, then disabled Javascript file merging and compression.
    2. Purged SG Cache

    Enabling it back seems to cause some js issues (because older js files that were merged and compressed are fetched) which affect videos and sliders.

    Thanks so much, Nikko. I just updated Enfold on the live site, did what you suggested, and all is well.
