With this issue, one site on flywheel and one on heart internet.. This is a concern I will have to rolle back the theme update
We’re seeing the following error, which is breaking your company website:
`
PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare av_countdown_events_fallback() (previously declared in /www/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_countdown/events_countdown.php:14) in /www/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_countdown.php on line 12April 27, 2018 at 2:35 pm #947968Hey codecreative,
If you are able to access the WP backend
For testing purpose go to Enfold > Performance > and disable JS merging.
Deactivate all caching plugins.
Let us know if that works for you. If not please share the link to your site where we can see the error.
Best regards,
VinayApril 28, 2018 at 1:25 pm #948350hmm how can i do this though if the server is generating 500 response and I can’t not access the admin area to do this :|
I love this update. It address many issues for me, the main thing is performance and it was a huge drag having to load js files for functions you are not using. The second issue was the short code use, it is awesome to see enfold addressing this on upcoming release. All I will say is left for you to be superior to other builds like elementor and divi is for the release of an elegant, front end of page drag and drop builder…
Regarding this theme update, your suggestion may have worked if i could access admin area. I can not. How ever it’s a shame you can’t just press update and it update your site without breaking it. For me I see this as a flaw this in the update process because say I am a web design agency with 100 client websites, is it ideal for me to update all of them via something like manage wp, only to find all of them don’t work and I need to go into each on to change them option settings…. Meanwhile I get calls and emails from clients who want to know why their site is broken…
I want to avoid any downtime so that makes me put off updating the theme which as we know isn’t a good idea.
April 29, 2018 at 11:23 am #948607Hi,
I have almost the same problem, every time I modify a product page and then save it, I get a 500 error page.
I disabled all Performance options of Enfold, empty my Chrome cache (and I don’t have any other cache plugin active)Thank you

Please start a separate thread, describe your issue there and give us a link to your website.
Can you please check server log for error?

VictoriaMay 4, 2018 at 11:23 am #951538hi the file you mention
/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_countdown.php
Does not exist
I attempted an update on another third site and that has also resulted in server 500 error
Not sure why I can’t update the theme
I do have the directory
/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_countdown
Not a php file though please advise
May 4, 2018 at 11:24 am #951541Within the directory mentioned was the file, so this
/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_countdown/events_countdown.php
I removed this file and it hasn’t changed anything
May 4, 2018 at 11:26 am #951543I have also renamed the plugin folder to plugin1 to eliminate this being a plugin conflict and that hasn’t resolved anything at all
Seems I am unable to upgrade my theme
