Note: Please disregard below. I did nothing but now the mega menu is working as it should . Very strange.

As a long-time user I have to say this 4.1 update has been a disaster for me. I am spending hundreds of dollars with a developer to try to get my site (currently on staging side) working before I can begin updating pages again on the production side.

The new mobile menu is not working well with the mega menu under the “Featured Homes for Sale” on my main menu. With the prior versions of Enfold it worked perfectly. I have experimented with the various settings and none of them work correctly. “Display submenu items on click” displays the item but then the photo in the mega menu is no longer a link, so if the user clicks the photo or the title (say 65 Hermann Street), the mobile menu just ignores the click.

If I then enable “create a clone” then I have two menu items that say “65 Hermann Street” and the second sub menu (65 Hermann Street in this case) does click, but the photo does not work and the first menu item does not work either.

Again, it worked perfectly in other version of Enfold.

If I use the “Hover” option for the menu, the submenu closes when the user scrolls.

Do you have any suggestions on the above please?

    Thanks.
    Rob

    Hey Rob,

Thanks for the feedback, so everything is working as it should now? You were likely getting cached results prior to that.

    Best regards,

As a result of activating and deactivating the bbPress forum plugins, all my forums and forum pages have disappeared. This update is breaking my site. Please help!

I just deactivated and reactivated bbPress a second time and my forums are back online.

    Hi EnlightenedMedia,

Great, glad you got it restored. You might want to consider having a staging version of your site where you perform updates on before you apply them to your production site.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Thanks Rikard… the strange thing is, my staging site doesn’t run a cache, only the production site… so not sure what was going on. I do have a question about the mega menu handling on the new mobile menu but will start a new thread for that one. Thanks

    Hi Rob,

Thanks for the feedback. It’s likely due to browser cache, so it would be local caching. I’ll leave the thread open in case you should have any further problems or questions on the topic.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
