    Dear reader,
I have the permalinks of the WordPress page customized through the Custom Permalinks plugin. My next purchase was a 301 redirect with the Redirection plugin. Unfortunately I got a 404 not found message. I removed the plugins and everything is back now on the default setting of WordPress. The pages are live, but I can not perform a redirection. Now the pages do not have the correct URL.
Please note that I’ve installed WordPress in a subdirectory.
Could it be that the redirect does not work because wordpress is in a subdirectory? Or did I do the wrong redirect?
Hopefully you can support me on how to redirect my pages

    Best regard

    Hey Lady3!

Our support does not cover third party plugins but maybe we can help you anyway. Does it work if you use one of the default themes like twentyfifteen? Also, did you try to contact the plugin authors? They are probably better equipped to help with this problem.

    Cheers!
    Rikard
