A small client website, still under development have been upgraded to version 3.8
No plug-ins are installed, and no CSS have been made, so it is a clean setup.I have several issues
text area
I can see the already typed text, but when going into edit mode, the txt section is showing a blank txt area, and not letting me editing the old txt.
If I insert a new txt section and paste a copy of old txt in, then i can edit again.Full with easy slider
I made a full with easy slider on each page, but pictures are not showing, hence appear to be blank/emty, but all pictures are still in the element.Codeblock
I have a button the a codeblock. It worked just fine before updating, but now I am not able to create a codeblock, and it is not showing on the frontpage, but everything is there when I open the element in edit mode.November 10, 2016 at 11:57 am #710655Hi Jan!

Thank you for the info.
We found an error in the console but we can’t reproduce it on our end.
avia.js?ver=3:1258 Uncaught TypeError: dropdownItems.find(…).addBack is not a function(…)
Did you modify any of the theme files? Please download a fresh copy of the theme from your themeforest account then update the installation.
Best regards,
IsmaelNovember 14, 2016 at 8:27 am #711818I did not modify any theme files at all.
I have now a new version of the theme on the website, however my problem seems to be the same.November 14, 2016 at 1:50 pm #711942I just made a new completely clean installation on my development server.
I made the ordinary colour changes to the theme, as on the first url. Then I did try do do the work all over again.(just one test page with content) Still….even in this clean installation I am having problems with the slider….It do not show pictures, but now I can see and use the codeblock function that was invisible in the first installation.Something must be wrong with the Enfold theme, as no changes have been made to the theme files, and normally I have no or almost no problems with Enfold.
November 15, 2016 at 10:53 am #712397I made a roll-back on the website, to a older version of Enfold 3.6.1.
Now everything is working perfectly again.
November 15, 2016 at 9:11 pm #712593Hi,
There might be some corrupted files, so please delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your themeforest account. Here is a short tutorial on how to install the theme via FTP, in case you are not sure how that works:
Best regards,
AndyNovember 16, 2016 at 10:28 am #712820The files that are corrupted, are the Enfold files.
If you did take yourself them time to ready my messages, then you will realise that I did already do that…several times….so I will not do it once again. I roll-back to a old version of Enfold for now, and will stick to this, until the code in the theme are fixed. I am sure it is not only me, that are experiencing this problem.
November 17, 2016 at 11:36 am #713516Hey!
We are very sorry that’s happening on your end, the 3.9 version will be on release soon. Try to update it as soon as it is available, if you still experience this issue, please provide ftp access so we can atleast look at the files and check for errors.
Best regards,
NikkoNovember 17, 2016 at 11:40 am #713520Not a problem…..will let the testsite be alive, so you can test….the actual site will be with the old version, until I know that 3.9 is safe to use.
