    HI,
    I use Enfold 3.4.7. and WP 4.4.2. on http://www.fitgutschein.de and would like to update both properly. I´ve read your highlight green hint re. the potential issues and I am planning to to it as recommended.

    Problem: If I go to options s/ theme update / check manually, I get not an info that a new enfold version is available. although the correct themeforest API key is visible.

    What shall I do?

    Hey Tilman!

    Please run this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/artiss-transient-cleaner/ in most cases it should fix the update issue.

    If you are not able to view update option and also not using a child theme please backup any custom changes you may have added to the theme and download the enfold latest version 3.5.3 from themeforest and update the theme manually via FTP following the steps provided here http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/update-theme-files-with-ftp/

    Hi Vinnie,
    thanks – but this plugin did not help. I use a child theme.
    No I helped myself this way: I have several pages w/ different API keys. I changed the key to one of the others – than the new enfold version was detected. Then I changed the API key back. All of my enfold versions I´ve bought via theme forest/envato

    Do you have any explanation for this?

    Hi Tilman,

    Unfortunately not but I’m guessing that fixed your problem? Maybe it only needed to reset.
