Topic: Wordfence breaks homepage
Hi,
does anyone know if Wordfence has some sort of conflict with Enfold?
In particular, the site works – if I go to any other page except the homepage it loads fine. Only the homepage leaves a white, blank screen.
If i try standard theme 2015 it also works fine.
I tried disabling plugins but it doesn’t seem to do anything.
Any ideas?

I can’t login and get error messages when trying:
Seems that Wordfence (plugin) is blocking me. By the way I can see other active plugins as well on your website. Are you using any caching plugin? if yes please go into it’s settings and switch off caching function, afterwards deactivate the whole caching plugin, then clear browser cache and refresh your browser a few times.
When deactivating all plugins does not help, you would need to delete all theme files and get a fresh copy from your themeforest account. Maybe there are some corrupted files on your installation.

I think it is cause by the WordFence cache settings. There is a cache version number in the enfold.css file. It should not be there by default. I tried to exclude the dynamic_avia folder where the enfold.css file is located but I can’t clear the WordFence cache. There’s an error:

I am having a bit of a site disaster – O.o
I don’t know what’s happened but my site which was working perfectly before is now totally messed up. I’m not a developer – but from what I can tell the Javascript isn’t loading properly. I don’t know whether this has something to do with Wordfence or Better WP Minify (both of which worked fine in the past).
The full screen slider, product lightboxes and any images with any kind of animation on them no longer appear and the megamenu looks funny – really squashed.
This is pretty bad but what really concerns me is that for some reason the cart/quantity buttons no longer appear for variable products – you just can’t add them to cart.
I have added links with examples of what I mean and other info for you below.
I am totally panicking and have no idea what to do – please help! :)

sind das Screenshots von Wordfence? Weil wenn ich auf mobile auf dein Logo klicke, wird bei mir kein /undefined, sonder deine ganz normale Seite in der Browserzeile aufgerufen. Ich kann den Fehler also nicht reproduzieren. Falls die Fehlermeldung von Wordfence kommt, kannst du eventuell noch einmal bei deren Support anfragen. Die kennen sich mit ihrem Plugin am Besten aus.

Hallo,
habe bei meinem neuesten Projekt einen kleinen Fehler entdeckt und finde leider keine Lösung dafür.
In der mobilen Ansicht, z.B. iphone, komme ich zwar über das Header Logo zur Startseite, allerdings erscheint mir in der Wordfence-Live-Activity unter “Pages not found” folgende Fehlermeldung:
An unknown location at IP xxx.xxx.xxx left http://xxx.com and tried to access non-existent page http://www.xxx.com/undefinedWoher kommt dieses “undefined”?

Hey guys,
Wordfence gave me a notification that the upgrade.php file and version.php have been edited. I couldn’t find another topic about this so I hope not to bother ya’ll. Is this just a false positive as I know that the theme automatically checks for updates as it pulls version info from Themeforest. Can anyone verify this?

Two problems…
1. I want to make sure I am looking in the right place…I have little experience finding my way in the directory…I am using filezilla THe first .htaccess file I see is directly in the public html folder, the wordpress folder is empty but the wordpress-admin folder hs a .htaccess file as well.
2. I never worked with that sort of file. My plan is to download the file to my desktop, then open it using text wrangler and add the code, then upload it to replace the file already on the site. However, when I download it to my desktop I cannot find it! My Filezilla sees it on my desktop but it is “invisible” to me in my Finder. I even tried saving it to a folder but same problem. could it be that it needs an extension to be seen? I am on a mac.The bigger more worrisome question is why is this the only site I worked on with this problem? Has this happened to other sites? I inherited the site and notices some odd wordpress behavior but Wordfence comes up clean.

The only cache I have is the built in one in WordFence and this has already been cleared a number of times.

What country are you connecting from? I’m using WordFence to block non-US IP addresses since all of the customers for this particular platform are US-based.

Hi Enfold support team,
I installed Yoast 1.5.5. and switch off iTheme Security, and then it works.
So it is either SEO or security if I continue to use Enfold theme. I have also tried with Wordfence security plugin. Same, I still need to make a choice.Can you do something? So that SEO and security plugin can coexist in Page/Post List and Edit Page/Post?

Hi Kriesi Support :-)
When I use the element “Blog Posts” of Avia Layout Builder on a page the page url gets renamed to the first blog entry.
Also the SEO fields in yoast SEO plugin get rewritten to the SEO fields in the first blog post.It’s working fine with magazine tho. However magazine doesn’t have a pagination, so I would like to use “blog posts”.
Can you reproduce this?
